Questions
How early should we book?
For weddings, 3 to 6 months ahead is best. For birthdays and family sessions, 2 to 4 weeks is usually enough. Short notice? Even if you call the day before, if we're free, we'll be there to tell your story.
When do we get our film?
Each package shows its delivery time. Weddings take 6 to 8 weeks, birthdays and family films 2 to 4. You get a sneak peek sooner.
How do payments work?
30% retainer when you sign; the rest is due 7 days before your date. We accept ACH bank transfer or card. Prices are before Texas sales tax.
How does booking work?
Pick a package and a date on hichstudio.com and send the request. Within one business day we reply with a confirmation email that has the agreement and a payment link. Your date is held once the agreement is signed and the first payment is made.
Do you travel?
Travel to Kyle, Buda, San Marcos and Austin (within 30 miles) is included. Farther is $0.725 per mile.
Do you speak Spanish?
Our website, Eric and our written messages are in English and Spanish. Calls and filming are in English.
